I am looking for roof parts for my 1990 VW Cabriolet. It is the roof mechanism on the passenger side that needs to be replaced. My roof won't latch on the locking side because the piece has been bent (flew back while I was driving). If anyone knows where to find this part or can be of any help at all, I will appreciate it! Thanks so much!

Don't know much about them but have fallen in love with a totally restored '58 European beetle - Rug Top?. With only 500 miles on it. Spoke to a couple of people, who are by no mean experts, and every one is scaring me about the lack of parts. Would it be this hard to obtain them if needed? Overall, would this car be a good investment? If anyone could shed a little light on it I would be grateful.

How old is your focus? How many miles? Does it happen at a certain speed (ie: 70mph?) Its possible your fuel injector is clogged. Might not hurt to get some fuel injector cleaner and put it in your gas tank next time you fill up. Some decent brand names are STP and GUMOUT. Look for it at a car store like autopartsway
